Worship Pastor

Role Overview
The Worship Arts Pastor serves on the pastoral staff and works closely with the Lead Pastor to plan and lead weekly worship gatherings. As a medium sized church (around 350-400), this role includes both hands-on leadership and shepherding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead Sunday morning worship in collaboration with the Lead Pastor
  • Lead a multi-generational congregation in a variety of worship styles
  • Recruit, train, rehearse, and pastor volunteer worship and production teams
  • Oversee worship-related technology, media, and live streaming
  • Plan and lead special services (Easter, Christmas, Good Friday, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Student and Children’s Ministries to invest in the next generation
  • Provide pastoral care and assist with weddings, funerals, and other duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a call to pastoral ministry
  • Bachelor’s degree in a ministry-related field (post-graduate study preferred)
  • 3–5 years of worship or music ministry experience preferred
  • Servant-hearted, collaborative, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
Skills (or Willingness to Learn)
  • ProPresenter, Planning Center, musical fluency, Behringer X32, StreamSpot, and worship service production/live streaming.
