Scott Ryan
Lead Pastor
Scott grew up in the Dayton area and sensed an early call to full-time ministry through both a desire to shepherd God’s people and the encouragement of faithful mentors. He earned a B.A. from Cedarville University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also met his wife, Chrisina, who likewise holds an M.Div.
Scott has served in pastoral ministry for over 17 years, including churches in South Florida and Oklahoma City, and became Lead Pastor of Washington Heights Baptist Church in 2025. Scott and Chrisina share a passion for counseling, international ministry, and serving the church together. They have three children—Elijah, Sadriana, and Karis—and desire to see the local church live as the loving, eternal family of God in Christ.
