Benji Smith
Worship Director
Benji hails from South Point, Ohio and has been involved in music ministry since childhood by singing in choirs and plays, while later leading praise bands and helping his local church. He holds a BA in Music and Biblical Studies from Geneva College, and in 2026 joined Washington Heights Baptist Church as our Worship Director.
Benji and his wife Chelsey married in 2014 and have one cat named Doug. Together they served as missionaries in Singapore at the International Community School teaching Music and English respectively. Benji loves all kinds of music, instruments, and technology used to give God praise, and cannot wait to be a part of the great multitude from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
